Insurance Advisor
When you think of insurance, what comes to mind? Boring? Confusing, pushy?
Same!!!
At Ditto, we’re trying to build a very different kind of insurance business : advice-led and customer-first. People come to us because they need insurance help. Our job is to guide them to the right direction and when it makes sense, help them buy the policy with confidence.
This role is consultative sales. Not “sell at any cost”, not “convince everyone”, not cold calling. But yes: you will be expected to close when the customer has a genuine need and the right product fit is identified.

What this means in practice:
- Inbound, not outbound : You speak to people who book appointments / reach out. So no cold calls.
- Advice First : Your default job is to understand needs, explain trade-offs, and recommend what’s right.
- Closing is part of the job : If the customer should buy, you’ll guide them through plan selection and purchase.
- No Spam : We don’t badger customers into buying.
- Time to do it well : Consultations are designed to be thoughtful, not rushed.
- Choose Your Path: Team Falcon or Team Bliss
Team Falcon (Call-first, Deep conversation)
- If you enjoy long form conversations and building rapport on calls, this is for you.
- Typical Hours : 10am – 8pm (with breaks)
Team Bliss (Chat-first, fast + crisp)
- If you’re strong at written communication and prefer WhatsApp-first advisory, start here.
- Calls increase gradually based on customer preference.
- Shifts : 10am – 7
Who We’re Looking For:
- Clear, empathetic communication: You can simplify without dumbing down.
- Customer instinct + backbone: Helpful, but not a pushover
- Detail orientation: Small errors create big claim problems later.
- Comfort with ambiguity: Real customer situations are messy
- English fluency : Other Indian languages are a plus
- Basic tech comfort: Tools, CRM-like workflows.
- No Insurance experience required. We’ll train you.
Training & Growth
If you’re new to insurance, we’ll train you from zero with a structured program. The goal isn’t “learn scripts”. It’s learning to think like an advisor who can sell ethically.

Our Interview Process:

- Assessment Round: Let’s check your analytical skills.
- Task 1: Show us what you bring to the table.
- Task 2: Dive deeper and showcase your skills.
- Final Managerial Round: Your last step toward joining Ditto.
